Kenosha Community Sailing Center is working to establish a High School & Collegiate C420 Sailing Team, which is the first of its kind in our community.
As a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide access to Lake Michigan through various recreational and educational opportunities, we invite you or your business/organization to participate in this unique initiative.
We are hosting a Mardi Gras Party on February 7th to raise funds for this sailing team. Please consider buying a table, seat, or donating. You will be helping give youths in our community the opportunity to partake in this Olympic sport, and grow Kenosha’s strong maritime and athletic culture.

Party with a purpose! Our Mardi Gras Party starts at 6PM on Saturday, February 7th at Carthage College’s with proceeds supporting our high school and collegiate competitive C420 sailing team.
This special Carnival–themed evening features an Authentic New Orleans dinner, Bourbon Street Drinks, live music by the Cajun Strangers, and a mini Mardi Gras parade inspired by the’Tit Rex tradition.
Our event makes for a great corporate outing, team-bonding event, or fun night out with your family or friends. Bring your crew together to participate in our ‘Tit Rex Parade (‘Tit is short for “Petit”). Guests will collaborate during the Mardi Gras Party to build creative shoebox-sized floats with art & craft materials, and participate in a parade procession for a chance to win awesome prizes (not to mention bragging rights!)
